Edmund Sylvers was an American singer and songwriter, best known as a member of the popular 1970s R&B group The Sylvers. Born on March 25, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was one of ten siblings who made up the talented musical family group.
The Sylvers achieved success in the 1970s with hits such as "Boogie Fever," "Hot Line," and "High School Dance." Edmund Sylvers was known for his smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence, contributing to the group's success.
After the Sylvers disbanded in the late 1970s, Edmund continued to work in the music industry as a songwriter and solo artist. He released a solo album in 1980 titled "Have You Heard," which featured the single "That Burning Love."
